About CCBA

The mission of the CCBA is to maintain the dignity and honor of the legal profession, to cultivate a feeling of goodwill among its members, and to recommend, advocate and work for the promotion of justice.

The Clark County Bar Association has been home to the Southwest Washington legal community since 1978. Based in Vancouver, WA, we're a member-driven organization governed by a board of trustees — and with over 500 attorneys, judges, and legal community supporters in our ranks, there's no shortage of good company.

Membership in the CCBA is voluntary, and we think that's actually a selling point. Attorneys choose to be here. The result is a genuinely collegial and active bar where most members will tell you the same thing: joining is simply the best way to feel connected to the legal community in Clark County.

We offer four membership categories to fit where you are in your career:

  • Regular membership — for licensed attorneys actively practicing law
  • Emeritus membership — for attorneys who have stepped back from active practice
  • Associate membership — for non-attorneys who are part of the legal community
  • Staff membership — for attorney office staff
