Clark County Bar Association

You may purchase display advertising to appear on this website. Rates and copy, size, artwork and format requirements are set forth below.

You may order website advertising by email—send your ad copy, order instructions and contact information to the CCBA.

Website advertising is available in four formats: 2 X 1, 2 X 2, 2 X 3 and 2 X 4. Any ad may be linked to your website (or not). All website ads display in the right column of the CCBA web pages. Ads are displayed in a random order—advertising dedicated to a specific web page or to a specific placement on a page is not currently available. Every ad will post to every web page on the website in a random order. Ads on a page will change every time the page is accessed or refreshed (click your refresh button now and watch the ads in the right column on this page change).

Available ad sizes and monthly rates are set forth below. All rates are subject to the following discounts: CCBA members—10%; 6 months pre–paid—10%; 1 year commitment—20%.

Ad copy should be submitted digitally. The preferred format is JPEG or JPG for ads that contain photographs or continuous tone images. GIF formatting is best for non–photographic images. PNG formatting is acceptable, but be aware that some, older browsers (browsers that no one should be using any more) do not recognize PNG images.

We can also accept EPS, Adobe Illustrator (up to version 13.x), Adobe InDesign (up to version 5.x) and Adobe Photoshop (up to version 10.x) images, but they will be converted to JPEG or GIF as appropriate. Fonts should be converted to outlines prior to submission—if you submit ad copy in EPS, Illustrator or InDesign formats without having converted the fonts to outlines, generic fonts will be substituted for the font you intended to use.

Please do not submit your artwork in PDF format.

Please note that when submitting digital advertising it is important that the image sizes conform to the proportions set forth above. Ads will be scaled to fit the allotted space. If your ads are not proportioned to the sizes set forth above the images will be distorted when displayed on a web page. Also note that when designing your ads it is better to submit them proportionately larger, not smaller, than the display size. Ad copy will scale to fit the space, either up or down—images that are reduced to the display size look fine, but images that are enlarged to the display size may look ragged or fuzzy.

The CCBA does not provide advertising design or ad preparation. If you need someone to design an ad for you, please contact us for a referral.

For linked ads, please submit the full url to the website or page you want the ad linked to (for example: http://www.ccbawashington.org).

All advertising, notices and announcements are subject to CCBA approval and the CCBA reserves the right to refuse any advertising requests it deems inappropriate.
